TaleSpire Tycoon! It even does the stupid thing of cutting off the "board" into empty space, which I will fix in TaleSpire with huge boards and clever camerawork. But here where it'd be even easier to fix, they don't bother to. Plus, they're planning a simple game. Not that I'd be playing a tycoon game in the 2020s. Haven't played one since the '90s. Once Civ came out there was no need to play one anymore since in Civ you also build railroads, among many other things. That's why these games now are specifically for train nerds, whereas back before Civ they were for everyone who liked strategy. Nevertheless, it's still depressing to see a new game in the genre come out that will surely be simpler than Sid Meier's original 1990 Railroad Tycoon.
Btw how do I know it'll be simple?
