I've hinted at Necromunda before: it's a planet in the 40K galaxy (you can see it just south of Terra & Mars in my 40K overworld [ > ]) in which you can play skirmish battles (i.e. smaller-scale battles than 40K) between rival gangs in a hive city. Brand-new rules, brand-new factions, brand-new units. It's been published since 1995 and has several editions.
And now they're releasing a roleplaying game for the setting.

Been wondering why the new Necromunda Core Set proudly displays the word "Skirmish" on the front of the box? Well, it's to distinguish it from the new Necromunda Roleplay. As the name suggests, it's a fully-fledged, miniatures-driven RPG, allowing you to participate in immersive stories that will take you from the underhive to the ash wastes.
The set comes with four characters and two adventures to use them in. Further adventures will no doubt be published.

The way I'll integrate it into Battlemaster is that first off Necromunda itself will be unlocked by someone while exploring 40K, then that player and/or whoever else is interested will delve into the many skirmish scenarios available over the years (over 200 if I am not mistaken), and then at some point while playing through them, the roleplaying adventures will be unlocked, completing which gives you the starring characters, and perhaps other perks too, to add to your army.
That's how all the Warhammer RPGs will be integrated into Battlemaster, and now there is one more.
