I am baffled that they think they'll benefit more by forcing people to run Twitch in the background rather than just selling the skins to them. I wouldn't have bothered looking into this at all if tomorrow's event (which I'll link below) didn't feature some pretty darn cool skins.
Note that unlike Star Citizen, one of us possessing a skin suffices to outfit our entire base/clan. That said, unlike Steam skins, Twitch ones can't be transferred to a clone account, so the owner must be participating in the wipe. Therefore, for Twitch skins, the more of us that own them, the better.
