In the wake of vicious and unprovoked attacks by the Nine Tails gang on Orison's platforms, and for the safety and security of the Stanton system as a whole, it has become vital that we begin efforts to rebuild immediately. In conjunction with several valiant support organizations, we are coordinating a widespread campaign to supply and secure relief efforts. With your contribution, we can restore Orison to its rightful glory.

After shubn reported that this can be done in 3-4 hours solo, I don't see the reason to schedule an official session for it. It ends October 7 so everyone who wants to finish it has plenty of time to do it. There are permanent web hangar rewards, and they're blue, so you'll get to use them with shubn in Crusader and Nyx if you get them. I plan to make some time this weekend to play this.

Report here after finishing the event, or if you have links, tips etc. to share. You can also post in the #stanton Discord channel if you want to try and set up a session with people to help you out.

The types of contracts available to complete the event are combat (mainly ship combat, though there is one ground combat one), hauling, salvage, and fabrication (i.e. mining). I think the salvage ones were put on hold due to "issues with payouts", which from what I gather means that people were earning too many credits with it.

I completed the event with my main account, in large part thanks to Adjudicator sharing and completing combat missions. I'd initially read that points for the event might be split when sharing contracts, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I first did one of the large hauling contracts using the Ironclad, but loading and unloading 960 SCU took so long that by the time I completed it, Adjudicator had already gotten me over the 50% line. If you're going to do hauling, the medium and small contracts seem more efficient (96 and 6 SCU respectively).

The 186k ship combat contract is very efficient, and you can complete the event with it in about 2-3 hours. It consists of two waves, for a total of 10 enemy ships, and the largest ships you might encounter are the MOLE and Zeus. You can encounter Vanguards, so I maybe wouldn't go in with a light fighter, but any ship with decent firepower (S4+ guns) and defense should do. If you don't have any such ships, everyone seems to have a Starfarer in their ASOP at the moment for some reason, so you could use that. It works just fine. Or you could rent a Corsair at Lorville for 150k.

The fabrication contracts require aluminium with a quality of 600 or more. I'll try it later today to do the event with the clones.

But don't worry, it wasn't the meta anyway. The absolute fastest way to clear the 72,000 points needed to max the reward ladder is the "Medium Supply Haul" contract.

It requires moving 96 SCU of medical supplies and pays a flat 6,000 pts per run. That's 12 runs solo, taking around 4 hours.

Want it done faster? Get a group of 2 or more, preferably 4 and do this:

  • Disband party
  • Everyone grabs their own Medium Supply Haul
  • Party back up & share
  • Run them together & progress isn't split!
  • Disband your party again and repeat

That nets a crew of 4 24,000 pts per cycle, finishing the entire event in just 3 cycles. My image guide has been updated with this which has been attached below.

CMDR Quattro @QuattroBaje3na wrote:Fair point if you have the right fleet, but it carries a much higher risk. Cargo is just far more accessible for the average player who might not have the ships or combat experience. You can rent cargo ships for nothing and get it done in no time consistently.

Usman @usman_zahid wrote:No need to disband party. Just pick your own contracts and only share just before you're turning it in.

Usman @usman_zahid wrote:Yeah that's why you share it just before turning in.

All picks up personal contract. Do them up to the point where they are about to send elevator down. Share them. Party members accept. Elevator sent down. Contract complete and mission queue is cleared to pick your next contract :)
